Kitchen

Home of Iredell Lueazer Brown built in 1884. The kitchen went through several improvements. In 1936 electric lights replaced oil lamps. In 1947 a refrigerator replaced the smokehouse. In 1950 they installed running water. The family vacated the farm in 1961. Seen at the "Tobacco Farm Life Museum", Kenly, NC.
